Flash mob-ania

While the winds of change are raging through the entire Middle East with people demanding rights, change of a different kind is beginning to sweep through western countries. Consider what went on recently in London, Birmingham, and elsewhere within the country. What started as a protest soon became a looting spree with thugs looting as much as they could. Even when a Malaysian student fell on the road after being hit, a group of individuals approached him as if they were there to help him whereas, in fact, they brazenly and shamelessly robbed him from whatever he had in his backpack. And while they were happy with their loot, Malaysians and the entire world was left in a state of shock at witnessing the callousness of those involved.

Look at what has been going on in the United States with flash mobs showing up to rob stores for petty stuff as if it was their right, their favorite pastime. Remember what happened in Vancouver after Canucks lost the final hockey game when hoodlums took to the streets to burn police cars, destroy stores, and more importantly, to loot.

Points to ponder; what is the root cause of all this repeated mayhem, what happened to ethical and moral values, where is self respect and respect for the family, and where are you mortal beings going as a civilization? No one is paying attention; instead, the focus remains on worldly greed for money.

Inaction will only result in a heavy price to be paid as a consequence, a price no one may be able to pay when the time comes.

What a racket

Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain have recalled their ambassadors from Syria for consultations. Saudi King Abdullah says that he is not comfortable with what is happening in Syria and that the Syrian President Bashar al Asad must stop the killing machine. Although it is true that what the Syrian regime is doing is criminal and inhuman, it is ironic that countries like Saudi Arabia and Bahrain will show displeasure.

It was only a few months ago, Bahrain crushed its own people to silence them. Not only that, Saudi soldiers and armored personnel carriers rolled into the streets of Bahrain to help crush the uprising. Earlier, the Saudi King had come to the rescue of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak when he was under fire by his people. In fact, he encouraged him to crush them with an iron fist as if he needed any advice since he had already been doing just that for the past three decades.

The real reason behind discomfort is not for the sake or love of humanity; instead, it is because of their disdain for Iran and its cozy relationship with Syria. Blood is still flowing freely on the streets in Libya but the Saudi King has no discomfort with that.

And still reeling from the downing of one of its helicopters in Afghanistan, the Americans are crying that the weapons being used by Taliban are coming from Iran. Well, why cry about weapons when weapons make up a multibillion dollar industry. And what are weapons being manufactured for in the first place…..to fight Aliens? History is witness to the fact that whatever weapons the mortal beings create, they willingly use it on fellow humans even if it be nuclear weapons as was the case in Japan where not one but two nuclear bombs were dumped.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan met with the Saudi King just the other day and he was encouraging the King to buy weapons made in Pakistan. Americans have been freely giving weapons to Israel with painful ramifications for Palestinians, while aggressively pushing other foreign governments to buy American weapons worth billions of dollars; Taiwan is a good example.

So, you all out there just know that these weapons and political tactics are all on display not for your safety or security; instead, it is all about power and jockeying for power. The fact of the matter is that at the end of the day, the weapons kill more ordinary people than the rich or the rulers.

Unfortunately, it is one big game board with you all mortal beings just the pawns, dancing to the tune of the puppeteers and getting killed in the process mercilessly.

Waiting for politicians to get you a job or help you with your business?

Stop waiting on politicians for your economic survival as it would only put you in a deeper hole. By now, you all must know how the politicians work. And you have still not figured that out yet then unfortunately you do deserve to be in a deeper financial hole.

There is no doubt that economies and businesses worldwide are still reeling from the effects of ongoing economic crisis but this does not mean it is the end of the world. The good news is that there are plenty of opportunities out there for those individuals and companies who are flexible, willing to change and adapt, and are capable of moving quickly to take advantage.

If you are an individual looking for a job, look instead for a simple cost effective business idea and start your own business. You will enjoy operating your own business, the freedom and creativity, and controlling your own financial future.

If you are a business owner feeling economic pain, you ought to recognize that old ways of doing business would not work in the current challenging times. If you want quick results and have been trying your own old methods and things are still not improving then perhaps you should be searching for new ways of doing business instead of blaming economic crisis for all your business ills.

Regardless of whether you are an individual looking for a job or a business owner looking for financial stability, it is about time that you took charge and did something to change your current situation. Waiting on politicians is not going to help; instead, it will only sink you deeper into a bottomless pit.

As always, the choice is your’s to make; make it now.

And remember, things are not as bad as you think.

And cheese it is

There was a specific reason why the humble Holyman had sent a mystical message titled “And then came the politicians” earlier for the benefit of all mortal beings because it was clear that the mortal beings were bound to get a “special gift” from their ‘chosen’ mortal ‘leaders’.

The fact of the matter is that the whole ‘monkey business’ surrounding the debt ‘debate’ has been about personal vested interests. And in the end, what difference does it make whether it is the ‘tea party’, ‘coffee party’, or just the ‘paaaarrrty’ because they have all collectively given you a special gift of “cheese”. As a result, the national debt rating has been dropped to AA+ from AAA that had been maintained since 1917. And while the unholy media pundits are, as usual, going about their business saying the impact of this change will be minimal, you all mortal beings will start to find the ‘truth’ in due course of time.

More than the special gift of “cheese” your ‘chosen leaders’ have given you, they have, in fact, confirmed which has already been evident for the past several decades and, that is, the decline of the ‘empire’ is indeed in the works. If you look at the demise of all the other empires in history, you will realize that the signs of decline were always evident way before their respective actual vanishing acts. And the “signs” are no different this time around as well.

Well, rejoice for now as the “cheese” is here. And so are the “rats”.
